Sabrina Loraine Harper,
4/5/1977 - 11/12/2025
We were schedule to return to America on or around the day Sabrina was born, we had moved from our home to reside in luxurious
Building 500 for about six months as Sabina was born weighing two pounds and eight ounces premature
residing in and incubator for about six months.
Summer 1991
As Sabrina eldest brother one of my foundest memory with Sabrina. Once visiting a friends home who maintained at least a dozen pets, birds, dogs, snake, spiders and an Iguana. Sabrina refused to enter the home in fear of all the creatures. We assured her it was safe to enter the home. Me, her older brother comforting her she enter the home sitting on the couch. The mistress of the house walk by with the Iguana on her shoulder to suddenly leap onto Sabrina's face. It happen so fast she could not scream, however the look on her face was priceless as we all got a awesome laugh to include Sabrina.

Sabrina Loraine Harper, as I wanted to name her Brandy Nicole and my father wanted to name her Candy, Candess and Barbara our mother said hell to the no. Sandy, Randy drove her crazy enough, with Sandy, Randy and Brandy could never happened. Sabrina was born as we all agreed instantly on the name Sabrina Louraine. I remember the first time My father, Randy and I visited Sabring in the incubater at fifth floor Camp Kui Hosptial, Okinawa Japan. Larry the only black child visible suffering from water on the brain and for an infant his cranial capacity was extremely large. I remember my dad explaining, "We gonna love this child, she is flesh of our flesh and bone of our bones." Oh my God, my father so so relieved to our being directed to another section of the incubator chamber. There was our beloved sister and new addition to our family. We were all very proud of her BIRTH.

Christmas 1983
Our very first Christmas in Tampa Florida, Thorpe our mom, Randy, Sabrina and me celebrating with Connie and Dick Crooke, Richard and Larry Dawson. A huge turkey, my mother famous potato salad, stuffing and all the fixing. I remember drinking a Hiekens, Champaign and a vodka orange juice simultaniusly. Everyone was sharing more than on beverage, we then began toasting to all of our good fortune. On or about the fifteenth toast. Sabrina standing in a chair glass in hand bursted out, "I like this toasting".
Sabrina's Legacy
Slavery was abolished in 1863, however this families property was purchased this 1835 by our great, great, great grand father Issac Harper. Our Grandfather, the children of Sabrina's Great Grandfather Sanford Allen Harper farmed this land for over five decades to send the childrens Grandfater and more father Sanford E. Harper I, through college at the University of Tuskegee in farming. We still farm however we grow on such a small scale it is insignificant to the community we serve. Remember in the late 70's grandpa called Sabrina, Tuna Fish as we watch the entire family sitting on the porch shelling peas, butter beans and other greens. There is greatness in this families legacy. Sabrina is a part of this legacy that she passes the torch to Noah and Bailiegh.
